All payments must be made securely through the ExtraHand platform. Users should not request or make payments outside the system, and any attempt at fraud, misuse, or bypassing platform fees may result in account action.
To ensure a safe, transparent, and reliable experience for all users, ExtraHand requires that all pricing and payments follow these guidelines:
Full task pricing only All tasks must have a single, total price that covers the full scope of work. Partial payments, hourly estimates, commission-based tasks, or payment adjustments after acceptance are not supported.
Payments through ExtraHand only Cash payments or payments made outside the ExtraHand platform are not allowed. Once an offer is accepted, the task amount is securely held by ExtraHand until the task is completed. Exceptions may apply only for approved expenses such as materials or third-party fees, which must be clearly communicated in advance.
No extra charges after acceptance Service providers must not request additional payment beyond the agreed amount once a task has started. Any changes must be agreed upon through the platform.
Release payment after completion Payments should be released only after the task is fully completed. This helps ExtraHand assist in case of disputes or issues.
Accurate payment details Users must ensure their payment information is valid, accurate, and up to date to avoid delays or failed transactions.
ExtraHand’s secure payment system protects both customers and service providers, ensuring trust and accountability across the platform.
