This article explains Stage 2 of ExtraHand’s dispute process, where submitted information is reviewed impartially and payments remain on hold until the evaluation is complete.
ExtraHand dispute process – Stage 2: Review of information At this stage, ExtraHand carefully reviews all the information shared by both the customer and the helper. The goal is to understand the situation clearly and assess the details fairly before moving toward a resolution.
What do I need to do? Allow time for the review to take place, as ExtraHand aims to assess all information thoroughly and without bias
If you remember additional details or have more evidence that may help clarify the situation, submit it as soon as possible
Avoid negative or confrontational communication with the other party while the review is in progress
What can I expect? ExtraHand will act as a neutral reviewer and communicate with both parties primarily via email
The task payment will remain securely held until a decision is made
You’ll be informed once the review process is complete or if further information is required
Tips for a smoother outcome
Be open to compromise, as the final resolution may differ from your original expectation
Stay respectful and professional throughout the process
Continue to follow ExtraHand’s community and conduct guidelines
How long does this stage take? Reviews can take up to 14 days
This period begins once both parties have submitted the required forms, or once the submission window has closed
What happens next? After the review is completed, the dispute moves to Stage 3, where ExtraHand provides a resolution decision based on the information reviewed.
