This article explains how customers can file a dispute on ExtraHand, what information is required, and how the dispute review process works.
How do I raise a dispute as a customer on ExtraHand? If you’re unable to resolve an issue directly with a helper, you can ask ExtraHand to step in through the dispute resolution process. To do this, ExtraHand needs a clear understanding of what happened so the situation can be reviewed fairly.
What you need to do To start a dispute, contact ExtraHand Support and complete the dispute form you’re provided. You’ll be asked to:
Clearly explain the issue and what led to the dispute
Share details of your communication with the helper
Upload any supporting evidence, such as photos, videos, or documents
If the task was not fully completed, suggest a fair partial payment amount
Providing accurate and complete information helps speed up the review process.
What happens after you submit the form? Both you and the helper will be asked to complete dispute forms within a given timeframe
The information you submit may be shared with the other party
You’ll be required to confirm your agreement with ExtraHand’s terms and dispute guidelines
If either party does not complete the form, the dispute process cannot continue
Tips to help your dispute move smoothly
Include as much detail as possible about what occurred
Share all relevant evidence, even if it seems minor
If communication happened outside ExtraHand, include screenshots or records
Be clear and factual rather than emotional in your explanation
How much time do I have? You should complete the dispute form as soon as you receive it. The faster the form is submitted, the sooner ExtraHand can review the case. If the form is not completed, the dispute process will not move forward.
What happens next? Once all required forms are submitted, ExtraHand will review the information provided. If additional details are needed, the support team will contact you. Otherwise, the dispute will move to the next review stage.
