This article explains what to do if you don’t agree with a price increase request on ExtraHand, including how to discuss or decline the request and where to get help.
I don’t agree with a price increase request. What should I do on ExtraHand? On ExtraHand, both customers and helpers can request a price increase after a task has been assigned. If a helper submits a request to increase the price, you’ll receive a notification with the proposed amount and reason.
If you’re not comfortable with the request, you’re not required to approve it. No additional payment will be charged unless you explicitly accept the change.
What options do I have? Discuss the request If the reason for the increase isn’t clear, you can message the helper to ask for more details or try to reach a mutually acceptable amount. Open communication often helps resolve pricing concerns.
Decline the request If you don’t agree with the proposed increase, you can decline it directly from the task.
